"This is an exciting time for PayComplete as we continue to go from strength to strength with more customers and organisations experiencing our incredible team's relentless drive for innovation and customer service. I'm excited to work closely with all our teams over the coming months, helping to support our continued EMEA operations and work on the international growth, particularly in the Americas, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. In my new role as CEO, I look forward to continuing to work side-by-side with our incredible customers, helping them grow by optimising their cash management operations."

With over 1,000 employees working in 22 offices spread across 18 countries, PayComplete is at the forefront of global cash management. Providing systems including its proprietary hardware and unique, manufacturer-agnostic cloud-based platform, PayComplete helps businesses modernise and streamline cash transactions. Its innovative technology and first-class services are used daily by the world’s largest retailers, banks, cash-in-transit (CIT) firms, and international mints, providing full real-time visibility over the movement of physical cash across their organisations.

As CEO, Simon will continue the ongoing centralisation process of the PayComplete brand, helping to foster closer working and collaboration across the business while expanding its retail and cash-in-transit offerings.

Having joined PayComplete in 2018 as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, Simon has held several roles within the business, most recently as Co-President. Simon has over 25 years of experience in the finance and payments industry, having also held senior international leadership roles at major financial institutions, including Elavon, FIS, Certegy, and Mosaic.

"Cash is here to stay. In the UK, for instance, cash remains the second most used form of payment and is crucial to the operations of many businesses. PayComplete is uniquely positioned to support organisations in managing their cash more efficiently while creating opportunities to improve customer experience and deliver new services and revenue streams. Our proprietary hardware systems, supported by our first-class services and one-of-a-kind agnostic software platform, ensure we have the products to help the retail, hospitality, mass transit, banking and financial services, and CIT sectors enhance their cash management."

The news of Simon’s appointment as CEO follows PayComplete’s success in achieving ISO 27001 in 2023, as it continues its mission to simplify financial transactions and empower businesses with secure, innovative payment solutions.
