Zip’s new easy-to-use deals feature presents shoppers with a carousel of featured discounts and offers on the app home screen, providing retail partners with a new opportunity to promote seasonal deals or campaigns.

The move is part of a series of updates being introduced by the fast-growing provider to make the in-app shopping experience simpler for shoppers, and to help retailers build stronger relationships with their customers.

Anthony Drury, Managing Director at Zip, said:

“Shoppers don’t want to look across multiple apps or websites for the best deals, they want a one-stop shop to do all of their shopping and manage their payments. With our new deals feature, this is exactly what the Zip app provides. By offering retailers more real estate in the palm of a shopper’s hand, we’re making the shopping and paying experience simpler than ever.”

Earlier this year, Managing Director of Zip UK, Anthony Drury, spoke at a Sifted event in which he heralded the BNPL app as the new frontier of eCommerce. Zip’s updated deals feature is part of this move towards a more holistic and simpler shopping experience and builds on the success Zip has had in the US with a similar feature.
