"Tieto has extensive experience and knowledge of IT operations and a good understanding of our needs. The key deciding factor for us was above all their new cloud solution that will make SBAB more cost effective while becoming faster and more agile in the IT delivery to our customers. It will help build our vision of creating Sweden's best mortgage loans. Our future focus is our mortgage offering, customer communication and continuous streamlining of operations. Here the importance of fast and agile IT is increasingly important," says Johan Sandberg, Head of Infrastructure & Operations at SBAB.

"We are very proud to get renewed confidence from SBAB. The financial industry is undergoing a fundamental shift with IT becoming an increasingly integral part of the core business. The extended cooperation with SBAB confirms our role as a long term partner to our customers in the ongoing change," says Alexandra Fürst, Head of Financial Services, Tieto Sweden.

Cloud business is the fastest growing area in Tieto this year, and by 2020, around 80 percent of Managed Services is expected to derive from the cloud. Tieto is the largest cloud service provider in the Nordic countries.
