UK-based banking technology vendor Raft International has formed an alliance with server provider Stratus Technologies to deliver high availability, fault-tolerant banking solutions to the financial services industry.

The companies will promote Raft’s use of the Stratus Microsoft Windows 2000-based server platform for investment banking, risk management and wealth management applications.

Stratus’ ftServer solution will provide a 24x7, fault-tolerant, hardware platform for Raft’s banking clients, delivering continuous availability for their most critical applications, says the company.
