UK trading technology vendor Fidessa has appointed Katy Birch to lead its sell-side marketing activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea).
Birch's career in the financial technology sector spans 15 years and includes roles with Rolfe & Nolan, Monis, Future Dynamics, Sophis and OpenLink.
In her new role at Fidessa, Birch will work with sales and product management teams to identify key target areas and provide marketing support to drive sales growth across the Emea region.
Birch began her new job on 1 October and is based in London. She reports to the firm's global marketing communications director, Simon Barnby.
