TD Securities is replacing its legacy market data distribution system at its Chicago and London operations with the Wombat Platform .

Under the terms of the agreement Wombat will also provide the bank with a range of US and European feed handlers. Wombat says its feed handlers currently provide sub-millisecond connectivity to more than 80 direct exchange and aggregated vendor feeds.

Wombat says its middleware platform, dubbed Mama, provides the ability to combine with a variety of messaging technologies. This feature will also support TD Securities investment in Tibco's Rendezvous messaging software, says Wombat, and will allow easy adoption of new technologies going forward.
