Swedish security firm Todos Data Systems has won a deal to supply the Bank of Taiwan with two-factor customer authentication technology.
The bank will use the vendor's eCode technology to deliver remote authentication services to its Internet and telephone banking customers.
Todos will provide Bank of Taiwan with two of its eCode Central systems along with 10,000 OTP (one time password) tokens and 10,000 eCode Authenticator smart card terminals.
The contract was secured by Todos' local partner in Taiwan FeSC. The bank is Todos' fourth client in the country. The vendor has previously secured orders for its authentication technlogy from HuaNan Bank, Cosmos Bank and Taipei Bank.
