Global Payments and Realex to run transAtlantic 'appathon'

The FinAppsParty will host talented developers, designers and programmers of mobile payments apps that will compete in teams of up to four members over a 24-hour period. For each location, judges will select the three innovative payments applications that best simplify the shopping experience for consumers and merchants while expediting the checkout process via a mobile device.

The FinAppsParty in Atlanta will begin at 6:00pm US ET at Global Payments’ Headquarters, 10 Glenlake Parkway, North Tower, Atlanta, GA 30328. Winners will be announced at the 2016 Georgia Technology Summit on March 17, 2016.
Participants of the Atlanta event will compete to create applications that enhance the mobile shopping experience by utilizing a smartphone, wearable or other connected device.
