Asset Control appoints Richard Petti CEO

Asset Control, the worldwide supplier of high-performance financial data management systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Petti as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Petti brings to Asset Control the experience of a broad and successful management career with global leaders in software for financial services and regulatory compliance, including nine years at SunGard Data Systems where he led global sales and services for a portfolio of enterprise risk systems. Today, Mr Petti joins Asset Control from WEMA Environmental Technology where as COO he managed the company's rapid growth as a leading innovator in environmental compliance software.

Asset Control, which was acquired by Marlin Equity Partners in August 2013, helps the world's leading financial organizations manage their market and reference data, bringing integrity, efficiency and transparency to portfolio valuation, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Shawn McMorran, who as Managing Director of Marlin's London office led the investment in Asset Control, comments, "In the weeks since we acquired the business we have come to appreciate the wealth of talent in Asset Control and the depth of its commitment to customers. This is a great business and we are delighted to have Richard join the management team. We see a great future for Asset Control under Richard's leadership."

Mr McMorran adds, "We are immensely grateful to Dean Goodermote for his support as Interim CEO during this transition."

A graduate of Bucknell University, PA and with a Masters Degree from L. Bocconi University in Milan in Economics and Management, Mr Petti, who will be based in Asset Control's London office, brings an instinctively global outlook to the business and a track record of delivering innovative and high-quality services to customers worldwide.
